An architecture of the
invisible.

Maison Mizumi does not sell fragrance. We create atmosphere — the quiet air of a room, held in ceramic and essence.
The Maison began with a simple observation: that the most lasting rooms are not composed of what you see, but of what you feel. A quality of air. A texture of light. The presence of a single, weighted object placed with care.
Every Maison Mizumi vessel is finished by hand in a small studio outside Kyoto, in small batches, over long hours. Each essence is composed in the same studio, undiluted, decanted slowly. There is no faster way to make an object that is meant to remain.
Our work is inspired by the atmospheres of the temple, the tea room, and the ryokan — but it is composed for the room you already live in. The intention is quiet: to give the home a still centre, a place the day returns to.
Hand-finished ceramic, small batches, long hours. Every object carries the shape of the hand that made it.
Each vessel is designed to remain. The essence is renewed slowly, over seasons.
We compose atmosphere the way a room is composed — with care, restraint, and long attention.
